The Fairmount facility makes many different blends of flour that get used for various finished goods, including bread, buns, rolls, flatbreads, pasta, snack foods and much more. The mill has a daily capacity of:

  • 830,000 lbs. of flour

WHERE DOES Fairmount GET ITS WHEAT?

The Fairmount facility helps bring top-quality flour to the eastern U.S. by rail into Michigan, New York and South Carolina. They receive locally and regionally grown hard red spring wheat from many geographies, including fields from North Dakota and Minnesota. 

GIVING BACK

The Ardent Mills Fairmount team is active in the community and often partners with the local food shelf and community development programs such as the United Way of Richland-Wilkin Counties Food Backpack program. Also with the State of North Dakota’s Adopt a Highway program by covering a three-mile section of North Dakota Highway 127 near the mill.
