Women of Wheat Spotlight Series: Dana Edwards
In the flour and milling industry, male voices often dominate. At Ardent Mills, we’re continuing to invest in elevating women’s voices – both inside and outside of our industry – to work toward a future of enhanced diversity, equity and inclusion where the very best talent has a seat at the table.
One key program helping our efforts is Ardent Mills’ Employee Resource Groups (ERGs). Ardent ERGs were established to foster a culture of inclusion and create a work environment where employees feel empowered to share and exchange ideas. The ERG focused on empowering the voices of women at Ardent Mills is “Women of Wheat” (WOW).
Throughout 2024 – and beyond – this content series will showcase the female team members at Ardent Mills who are putting the “wow” in WOW and paving the way for a more inclusive future.
Our February team member spotlight is Dana Edwards, quality manager, Fort Worth, Texas. Read on to see how Dana’s work at Ardent Mills (and in the flour and milling industry) is cultivating a new cohort of young, diverse talent and how her career is serving as a blueprint for anyone striving to collaborate more with fellow team members.
Thanks for inspiring us, Dana.
